Was looking for books to feature during our endangered animals unit. Came across Terri Tatchell’s Endangered and Misunderstood series and loved it! The illustrations are great, the content is happy and fun. It’s an interesting introduction to Tarsiers and perfect conversation starter for the classroom.
I’ve been reading these with my class and they’re so good. I highly recommend checking them out.
This one is about a Tarsier who’s lonely and sings a sad song in the morning and night. His friends try to cheer him up by singing happy songs. But will the little Tarsier ever find his true love?

Endangered and Misunderstood is an ongoing series of children's picture books that takes a different approach to the serious subject of lesser-known endangered animals, emphasizing laughter, adventure, and themes everyone can relate to.
